Or make huge vats of apple sauce!Lindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13730130796826375503noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33226823.post-51540793666200381152007-08-13T23:07:00.000+01:002007-08-13T23:07:00.000+01:00Congratulations on the award - very well deserved!...Congratulations on the award - very well deserved! I haven't grown tomatoes this year, which is a good thing as they would have been ruined in the flood. You can make some chutney with the apples and tomatoes. Apparently you can freeze apples but I've never tried it. You can store any that seem relatively unblemished. And if you know anyone who keeps chickens (shame Noo's not nearer), you could offer to swap some for eggs :)Piglottiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05961495279414546848noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33226823.post-63919295851293204162007-08-13T20:31:00.000+01:002007-08-13T20:31:00.000+01:00Oh my.... home made cider - it doesn't get much be...Oh my.... home made cider - it doesn't get much better than that!
